This Friday, 30th May 2025, marks a beautiful new chapter in the life of my dear friend Amisha Sreekeesoon, and I am beyond honoured to be a part of it, not just as her bridal mehendi artist, but as someone who has shared many memories with her since childhood.
Amisha and I go way back. We were not just classmates; we were tuition buddies, partners in after-school assignments, and dreamers of young dreams. Over the years, life took us on different paths, but our friendship remained strong. So, when she asked me to do her bridal mehendi, it wasn’t just another appointment – it was a deeply personal and emotional moment.

Known for its play on negative space and intricate detailing, the reverse style was a perfect match for Amisha’s vibrant personality and refined taste. The designs included delicate motifs, traditional patterns, and modern elements, all thoughtfully blended to reflect her journey and individuality.
Seeing her eyes light up as the design came to life on her hands and arms reminded me why I love this craft so deeply. Mehendi isn’t just about patterns. It’s about storytelling, emotion, and timeless tradition.
